Carey Nieuwhof, Lead Pastor

Carey has served as lead pastor of Trinity since 1995.  He has a passion for seeing people’s lives changed as they encounter Christ.  Before ministry, Carey worked in law and broadcasting.  He and his wife Toni live in East Oro, Ontario with their two sons.  His family outshines him in skiing, mountain biking, hiking, water skiing and more, but he does everything he can to keep up.

Nadine Russell, Executive Director of Family Ministry

Nadine joined Trinity as Executive Director of Family Ministry in late 2006. She has a strong desire to see more people come to Christ through the creation of Trinity's irresistible environments and a multi-site strategy. Before joining Trinity she worked in Marketing for Pepsi - Quaker/Tropicana/Gatorade. Nadine, her husband Kevin and their two sons live in Orillia. Along with gardening she loves to participate in many recreational sports and activities like downhill skiing, mountain biking, hockey and golfing.

Patrick Voo, Executive Director of Service Programming

Patrick began in his role as Executive Director of Service Programming (SPD) in January 2007. He enjoys unleashing creative potential and is fuelled by a passion to create environments that connect to a post-modern, post Christian world. He ís also hopelessly obsessed with becoming a more effective leader, a more creative communicator, and a snappier dresser. Patrick and his wife Allyson live in Barrie, Ontario with their four princess daughters. When things are in balance, he loves to have time to spend on the tennis court or on his motorcycle.

Matthew Fox, Director of Student Ministry

Matthew Fox joined the staff at Trinity in 2002, initially as Director of Worship and most recently as the Director of Student Ministry. Before coming to Trinity Matthew served as a senior pastor, youth minister, band leader and Christian educator in different environments across Ontario. He has a passion for music and for seeing a generation of youth and young adults engage God in life change. Matthew and his wife Josie live in Oro in the home they built with five children. When he does not have an instrument in his hands, he loves to play and build in his shop.

Pat Dryburgh, Associate Director of Music

Pat Dryburgh joined the Trinity team in February 2007.  He has led worship for thousands all across Ontario, as well as toured parts of the US with a Christian pop-rock band.  Pat’s musical gifts include playing guitar, bass, drums, piano, saxophone, mandolin, and strong vocal abilities.  Inspired by fellow lead-worshipers such as Martin Smith (Delirious), Hillsong United, David Crowder*Band, Chris Tomlin, and Charlie Hall, as well as by secular artists such as Switchfoot, hellogoodbye, MuteMath, and Coldplay, Pat brings a fresh new energy to the music ministry at Trinity.  (He also brings along his love for Avril Lavigne and Kelly Clarkson, but he didn’t tell us that...).

Jane Howson, Associate Director of Children’s Ministry

Jane has been serving on staff at Trinity for the past 3 years. She has a strong desire to reach and connect with this generation of children through ministry and community service. Jane has a thirst for learning and a passion to lead kids into a relationship with their Heavenly Father. She graduated from Tyndale University College & Seminary in November 2006. Jane and her husband Ross, 2 daughters, and son live in Oro. She loves hanging out with her family, renovating, skiing, reading and the beach.
