Forget your credit cards and personal information, what if there was a spiritual force that wanted to steal everything you were and could be? What if there was a true identity for you that would help you live fully alive, but there was a thief who stole it? There are forces at work that want to take a gift God so desperately wants to give to you, and we’ll expose them this month.
June 24th “I Have to be Strong”
We spend an incredible amount of time keeping it together, at home, at work, in relationships – working so hard at being the people we think we are supposed to be. And it wears us out. There was a name for that kind of living, but Jesus came to bring a whole other reality into our lives. Maybe God wants us to get broken. We’ll explore that this weekend.
July 1st “This is Just the Way I Am”
So many of us have tried to change, and so many of us have tried to change other people. Too often, we throw in the towel and say “I will never change. I will always be financially irresponsible, captive to this bad habit, relationally challenged, spiritually dead...” You fill in the blanks. And maybe you will be on your own power, but God can do something brand new in you.
July 8th “I’m Not Good Enough”
“God could never use me. I’ve made too many mistakes. I’ve never really “ranked” like other people. God probably just wants to pass on me, and I fully understand.” But what if people who were not “good enough” were the very people God wanted to use most?
